History of project
Ms Doherty is a CFF (Classrooms for the Future) Grant recipient, and one of her CFF technology coaches is Miss Hangen. They attended a CFF Science Collaboration Day hosted by the central PA CFF coaches. There they found a wealth of ideas. As part of the Penn Literacy Network course 1, the two women have been collaborating to create lesson plans that use engaging PLN and web 2.0 strategies that promote higher order thinking, improved reading and writing, 21st century skills development, and a deeper understanding of chemistry.
